How decompression works
During a session you rest on a padded table while the equipment applies a slow, controlled pulling force to the spine. The goal is to gently lengthen the spine and ease pressure on discs and nearby structures.
Sessions are typically comfortable. You should be able to communicate with staff throughout, and the session can be stopped if anything feels wrong.
Who it may be considered for
- Some patients with ongoing low back or neck pain
- Some patients with disc-related concerns or sciatica-type symptoms
- Only after evaluation, and often as part of a broader plan with exercise
